From 2 to 13 September, businesses across the state will open their doors to industry professionals, students, and the public, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of their world-class manufacturing facilities. The event, which is part of Queensland Manufacturing Month, highlights innovations in advanced manufacturing and demonstrates how businesses are leveraging technology to drive productivity and global competitiveness.

This year’s program features 21 leading manufacturers and 10 industry innovators across 16 locations, spanning from the Gold Coast to Cairns. Guests will have the opportunity to witness firsthand how companies are incorporating automation, robotics, and data-driven manufacturing techniques into their operations.

Industry leaders set to showcase transformation and growth

Among the participants is Rockhampton-based All Industries Group, which will demonstrate how a strategic technology overhaul and a $312,000 Manufacturing Hubs Grant enabled them to expand capabilities, improve efficiency, and create five new jobs. The company’s state-of-the-art facility will be open for guided tours, offering a glimpse into their advanced heavy industry fabrication and machining processes.

Inside Advanced Manufacturing is not only an opportunity for businesses to learn from industry pioneers, but also serves as an inspiration for the next generation of manufacturers.
